Those Meddling KidsNewspapers are a little like the Scooby Doo gang - we help unmask a whole lot of villains. And many of them would've gotten away with it, too - if it weren't for those meddling kids.
This is partly a rebuttal to Vanity Fair columnist and media gadfly Michael Wolff, who told an audience last week that newspapers don't do much watchdog reporting anymore, really. Let's just see about that, huh?
A Tennessean investigation into the loan program has found that despite touting itself as a “nonprofit governmental” entity, the fund doesn’t play by the rules of government.
